Working as a Group

I already have a rough outline of what all is going on in my world. Here are some skills I think you all will find useful on a regular basis. Obviously no one character can cover all of this, but as a group you all should be ok. And I don’t know the HEX specific names of these skills, but I’m sure they are all covered in HEX.

Fighting – When all else fails and you can’t run. This is a 2 fisted pulp game! The one skill I recommend you all have some skill in. Don’t care if it is fists, swords, bows, guns, or explosive Swedish meatball throwing. Have at least 1 rank in something.
Social Sciences – Art, Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistics etc. Will let you understand different cultures better. Meet a new tribe of people? Find an old relic?
Hard Sciences – What is THAT thing? How do I work it without killing myself?
Engineering/Mechanics – You will be in many harsh environments. What happens when the car/heater/plane/gizmo we really need breaks down? How do I disable the enemy’s thingamajiggy that’s too hard to destroy?
Survival/Explorer – How do we navigate in this jungle/mountain/desert? Is that edible?
Doctor/Nurse/Medic – Sometimes you need a bit of healthcare.
Pilot/Drive/Ride – Cuz’ walking sucks! but not as bad as your NPC pilot dying, leaving you stranded on the island with a perfectly good plane.
